Sustainability

Good nutrition helps farms get more from every animal. And what is left from our process gets a second life.
Feed ferments in the rumen.
Microbes break feed down for energy, and release methane as they work.
Bypass fat passes through.
Protected fat moves through the rumen largely intact, adding little to fermentation.
Absorbed further down.
In the small intestine the fat is released and absorbed as concentrated energy.
More milk. Less methane per litre.
The extra energy goes into milk, so the methane from the rumen is shared across more litres.1
Gut health
Naturally, from fatty acids.
Medium-chain fatty acids help young animals through their most sensitive weeks.
A balanced gut matters.
Young animals are most at risk when harmful bacteria take hold in the gut.
Medium-chain fatty acids arrive.
C8:0, C10:0 and C12:0, found naturally in coconut and palm kernel oil, reach the outer layer of bacteria.
The outer layer breaks down.
Supporting gut health naturally, and helping farms rely less on antibiotics.2
A second life
Nothing wasted.
Palm fatty acid residues from our process go on to biofuel production, under ISCC certification.
